Map – Campbelltown Rotary Observatory

The Observatory is closed to the public during the public health emergency.

Getting There

The twin-domed Campbelltown Rotary Observatory is located at the corner of University Drive and Milky Way. This is at the rear of the Western Sydney University, Campbelltown Campus – overlooking the new residential suburb of Macarthur Heights.

There is no driving access via Brian Smith Drive. The public are required to approach the Observatory via Goldsmith Avenue and University Drive. From Goldsmith Avenue, turn right at the roundabout and drive up University Drive to Milky Way, where you cannot miss the Observatory.

The Observatory is reached via a public stairway from Milky Way. People with disabilities are advised to contact the Society in advance of any public night at contact@macastro.org.au for information regarding accessibility to the site and potential viewing through the telescopes.
